중등학교 학생들이 확률적 사고 방법을 습득케 하는 효과적인 교수법의 개발과 이를 통해서 실제의 확률적 문제 및 연관된 통계적 문제를 풀 수 있고 응용할 수 있도록 하며, 경우의 수, 확률의 정의, 조건부 확률과 독립성, 확률분포, 기대값, 극한정리, 조건부 분포 등의 내용을 깊이 이해하여 중등학교의 확률 통계를 가르치는 데 도움이 될 수 있도록 하는 교과목이다.
교과목해설(영문)
This course introduces and develops effective teaching methods which help middle and high school students acquire ways of thinking probabilistically and the ability to solve probabilistic and statistical problems arising in various fields. This course helps students understand more deeply about the basic theory of probability - such as number of cases, concept of probability, conditional probability, independence, probability distribution, expectation, limiting theorem - with an aim that they teach well probability and statistics subject in middle and high school.
